Housekeeping Manager Needed for Newly Opened Hotel in Idre Do you want to be part of building something from the ground up and create an operation where quality, comfort, and the mountain experience are at the center? We're now hiring a housekeeping manager for our newly opened hotel in Idre. The hotel will be open year-round and includes both hotel rooms and cottage operations. We're looking for someone who is passionate about organization, service, leadership, and who thrives in an environment close to mountains and nature. In this role, you'll be responsible for the daily cleaning of hotel rooms, cottages, and common areas, as well as leading, planning, and supporting the housekeeping staff. You'll be an important part of creating a warm and welcoming experience for our guests and will have the opportunity to help build routines, work methods, and teams from scratch. Your responsibilities: Daily cleaning of hotel rooms, cottages, and common areas Lead and distribute daily work within the housekeeping department Ensure quality and hygiene standards are met Conduct quality inspections of cleaned rooms and areas Onboard, train, and support new team members Responsible for ordering and inventory of cleaning supplies Handle staffing and scheduling together with management Schedule personnel Collaborate with reception and other departments to ensure a high guest experience Actively participate in daily cleaning work and support the team where needed We're looking for someone who: Has experience in cleaning, hospitality, or team leadership Has natural leadership skills and enjoys developing others Is responsible, organized, and solution-oriented Has an eye for detail and a strong sense of quality Enjoyed leading and motivating others Wants to help develop an operation from the start With us, you'll get: The opportunity to be part of an exciting journey from the beginning Work in a unique mountain environment year-round A varied and important role with significant responsibility The chance to influence and shape the operation together with us Great colleagues and a workplace with high ambitions and a warm atmosphere Welcome to become part of our team in Idre, which is scheduled to open in October 2026.
