About the job You hold end-to-end responsibility for Business Control at Site Gimo and act as the primary financial business partner and single point of contact to the Production Unit Director. You ensure reliable, transparent, and forward-looking financial insights that support decision-making, prioritization, and continuous improvement in operations. The role combines hands-on business controlling with people responsibility. While you lead and coordinate a team of Business Controllers, the role remains primarily operational, with strong personal ownership of analysis, forecasting, performance follow-up, and financial storytelling. Key responsibilities Full ownership of Business Control for Site Gimo, including accuracy and completeness of financial reporting Drive forecasting, target-setting, and performance management with strong business relevance Translate financial data into clear, actionable insights and decisions Lead and develop the Business Controller team with clear ways of working and high quality standards Drive improvements in data quality, reporting, and system usage Ensure compliance with financial governance, processes, and EHS requirements Location The location for this position is Gimo. Who you are You're a senior Business Controller with strong analytical capability and extensive experience from industrial or manufacturing environments. Comfortable taking full ownership, you work close to operations and act as a trusted advisor to management, with the ability to own and explain financial performance in a complex setup. A relevant academic degree in Finance, Economics, or Industrial Engineering is needed, along with fluency in English and Swedish. We believe your personality is key to success in this role. About your job As Operational Excellence Lead, you are a hands-on change driver in the Cemented Carbide Production Unit in Gimo. You translate the Production System into daily ways of working and deliver tangible improvements in efficiency, quality, and output. You work side by side with production, driving execution with strong local ownership. Acting as an extension of the Production Unit Director, you ensure that global operational excellence priorities are turned into real performance improvements in daily improvements. This is an execution role, focused on delivering measurable results close to production. You report to the Production Unit Director. Job responsibilities Lead the implementation and continuous development of our production system in daily operations Drive loss elimination across the value stream using structured Lean methods (value stream mapping, flow analysis, waste reduction, and standardized work). Own and drive the Production Unit's performance improvement roadmap with clear follow-up and transparency. Identify and prioritize improvement initiatives based on operational insight, data and performance gaps. Ensure that digital tools and shop-floor performance management are used to drive decisions and improvements. Deliver measurable results in cost, quality, and output. Your profile You bring solid experience from operational improvement in a manufacturing environment and enjoy working where change happens – in daily operations.
