The Employment and Integration Unit is part of Individual and Family Services. At Employment and Integration, we investigate the right to economic assistance under the Social Services Act and lead and coordinate measures against unemployment. We also work with people who have permanent or temporary residence permits, with a focus on establishment and integration. In our work, we collaborate with the Employment Agency, the Social Insurance Agency, Adult Education, the municipality's business development function, and other social services. We offer an inclusive work environment and a chance to make an impact and make a difference. Our facilities are temporarily located at Brogatan 10.
This is your job
As a social secretary for economic assistance, you will investigate the need for and decide on the right to economic assistance in accordance with applicable legislation. The work tasks also include simple advice, planning, and coordination in both internal and external contacts. You will work closely with the unit's employment secretary and together you will support individuals toward self-sufficiency.
This is what we are looking for in you
We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or another higher education degree that the employer deems equivalent. It is desirable that you have experience with motivational conversations and experience working in Procapita/Lifecare. We place great emphasis on personal maturity and suitability. For you to thrive in the role of social secretary, we see that you are responsible, flexible, and driven as a person. You find it easy to make decisions based on applicable legislation. You have the ability to work independently while also having good collaboration skills and relating to others in a responsive manner. We want you to have experience in authority work within economic assistance.
