For summer & fall 2026, we are seeking dedicated staff members for Kebnekaise and Abisko who are passionate about sharing themselves and want to deliver world-class guest service. Read more about the facilities here.
Life at a mountain station is varied, exciting, and educational - just like a day in the mountains can be. Beyond accommodation, food, and nature experiences, our operations are built on human connections. As a mountain guide, you play an important role in ensuring guests have a memorable overall experience from the mountain station. With us, you take on significant responsibility to fulfill guests' expectations for adventure - both in small and large ways. What does the mountain guide role entail?
You guide groups during day and evening hours, either with a colleague or independently, primarily in the local area but also on multi-day tours
You work in equipment rental/information and help guests rent gear for their upcoming adventures, answer questions about weather, tours, and share tips
You mentor interns
You support the mountain station with other tasks as needed
Who are you?
REQUIREMENTS: You have mountain leader certification or equivalent
You have a strong safety mindset
You are in good physical condition, as guiding can last for hours and be physically challenging
You are a team player who loves collaborating and values organization
You take great responsibility for your tasks and overall results
You have strong skills in Swedish and English. Other languages are a plus.
You hold a valid driver's license (Category B)

What you can expect as an employee:
Employment type: Seasonal work
Position: 85-100%
Monthly salary according to collective agreement: Visita/HRF's Green National Agreement and Tourism Supplement
Work schedule follows operational needs and includes work on weekdays and weekends, daytime and evening hours
Meal deductions according to collective agreement, regulated by the Swedish Tax Agency
