Guide for Northern Lapland Mountains - June to September 2026

Swedish Tourist Association operates nine mountain stations. For summer & fall 2026, we are seeking dedicated staff members for Kebnekaise and Abisko who are passionate about sharing themselves and want to deliver world-class guest service. As a mountain guide, you play an important role in ensuring guests have a memorable overall experience from the mountain station. With us, you take on significant responsibility to fulfill guests' expectations for adventure - both in small and large ways. You guide groups during day and evening hours, either with a colleague or independently, primarily in the local area but also on multi-day tours You work in equipment rental/information and help guests rent gear for their upcoming adventures, answer questions about weather, tours, and share tips You mentor interns You support the mountain station with other tasks as needed Who are you? REQUIREMENTS: You have mountain leader certification or equivalent You have a strong safety mindset You are in good physical condition, as guiding can last for hours and be physically challenging You are a team player who loves collaborating and values organization You take great responsibility for your tasks and overall results You have strong skills in Swedish and English. Other languages are a plus. Dishwasher/Kitchen Assistant – Immediate Start

Due to a last-minute cancellation, we at Mountain Lodge are looking for you to join our fantastic team! We're seeking someone who is proactive, positive, and outgoing. Previous experience in restaurants or cafés is a plus. As a dishwasher with us, you'll ensure the dishes are sparkling clean, help the chefs with simple prep work, and perhaps also assist the service team in serving the dining room. Work is scheduled for afternoons and evenings, leaving plenty of time for activities on the mountain. Abisko Mountain Lodge is the premier hotel in Abisko. We have a large portion of guests who return regularly due to our wonderful atmosphere and fantastic food. We receive praise not only for our food but also for our excellent breakfast buffet.
