Additionally, it is planned for Skenäs Prison to be ready during 2027 to take on the responsibility for places for children and young people sentenced to imprisonment. As a manager, you will lead, develop, and follow up on operations and provide support to your employees in daily work. The role includes personnel, budget, and work environment responsibility for approximately twenty employees, who work primarily as correctional officers. You will report directly to the Prison Director and will be part of the management team, which is an important platform for your leadership. You are expected, together with your colleagues, to take joint responsibility for your own and, if necessary, your colleagues' units. There are several managers at each operational site, which requires very good cooperation. Qualifications We are looking for someone who finds it easy to collaborate and has the ability to engage others. You are clear in your communication and can adapt your message based on the recipient's circumstances. You are calm and professional even in demanding situations and have the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. In your professional role, you have an analytical perspective, good problem-solving skills, and the ability to work with your employees to drive development and change work within one of the world's best correctional systems.
