Chef at Vemdalsfjällen - Full-Time Year-Round
Björns Kök opened its doors just before Christmas 2025 and we've had a flying start. In the heart of Vemdalen By, we're building what will become Vemdalsfjällen's natural everyday gathering place—a destination where guests, locals, and the whole village seek each other out year-round. Behind the restaurant stands KBK Vemdalen AB, and we run it with equal parts passion, heart, and a strong drive to make Vemdalen a destination for all seasons.
Now we're looking for a full-time, year-round chef who wants to be part of the journey from the beginning. We move fast, we dare to try new things, we challenge ourselves—and most importantly, we have a great time doing it!
Björns Kök is the heart of our operations, but not all we do. We also operate:
Fäbokrogen – the golf restaurant at Klövsjö-Vemdalen Golf Club
Värdshuset Vargen – the classic inn at Vemdalsskalet that we're taking over before the 2026/2027 winter season
FlipIt – trampoline park
Padel hall
KBK Arena – Activity hall right next to the restaurant where we host countless exciting events throughout the year

About the Position
You prepare food from scratch and handle prep work alongside our head chef, whom you'll work closely with. For us, quality food that our guests love is the top priority—what we send out, we're proud of. To thrive here, you need to enjoy the pace of a restaurant kitchen, be attentive, and be a team player when things get busy.
