Perfect for you if you are studying and looking for extra work on Friday evenings, weekends, and during the fall break. Job Duties In your role, you will operate one of our 82 checkout stations, where the main task is to scan and process payments for merchandise using the various payment solutions we offer. Working at our checkout lines is social work where you have a great opportunity to influence the customer's overall experience through your service and approach. By providing excellent service, we create value for the customer that increases the likelihood they will choose to return to us. Our goal is to go the extra mile so that customers leave with their expectations exceeded. We are looking for you if you: Have a strong sense of service and sales Have good teamwork skills Thrive in a fast-paced and social environment with lots of customer contact Have a positive attitude and a respectful, friendly demeanor If you have previous experience from similar work in retail, cashier operations, or other related fields, that is a merit but not a requirement. You need to be available for training between August 10-18. There will be two days of training on weekdays, and then you will work weekends. Scope If you are hired for the checkout line, we can offer a schedule with weekends and Friday evenings. Common Friday evening shifts start at 5:30 PM and end at 10:15 PM. Weekend hours vary with longer shifts, typically 4.5–8 hours per shift. There are also shifts available during the fall break.
