Dalstorp School is an F–6 school with approximately 130 students, located in the heart of Dalstorp. Here we work in an environment where safety, trust, and close relationships form the foundation for students' development. The school is located close to nature, which provides excellent opportunities for outdoor pedagogy and physical activity during the school day.

JOB DUTIES
As a student assistant with us, you work in close collaboration with the responsible primary school teacher. You work with one or more students in a class and at the after-school program who need extra support to be able to follow the instruction. This may involve helping student(s) with various types of disabilities.
You are engaged, attentive, and see the strengths in the students. You have the ability to create safety and good relationships. Your main duties therefore involve helping the student(s) follow the instruction and helping the student(s) find calm in their studies. Beyond that, your duties may also consist of helping the student(s) practice various daily tasks, being a support for the student(s) during breaks, in changing rooms, on outings, and in the after-school program.
QUALIFICATIONS
You who apply have completed upper secondary education and at least two years of documented work experience, including work with children and young people.
We would like to see that you have good knowledge of the school's curriculum and other governing documents that regulate the school's operations.
You also need to have an understanding of how various disabilities can affect students' learning, and be able to apply appropriate compensatory strategies in the pedagogical work. Knowledge and experience of low-arousal approach is a requirement.
You have a professional approach and work actively to create and maintain good relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues within the entire school organization.
