Piano/Singing Teacher at the Cultural School

We're seeking a warm, creative, and committed piano/singing teacher who wants to help spread the joy of music in our organization. With us, you'll meet students in primary school, ranging from their first tentative notes to more advanced musicianship.
Job Responsibilities
As a piano/singing teacher, you'll instruct children and young people of various ages and levels. You'll plan your teaching independently and play an important role in your students' musical development—and confidence.
Work takes place during daytime hours, and evening work may occur in connection with concerts and other activities.
The position is 75% and involves work at multiple locations within the municipality—therefore, you need to be able to get around conveniently.
Your own car and driver's license are required.
Your Work Tasks
Teach piano/singing, individually and in ensemble
Create inspiring and adapted lessons
Participate in concerts, recitals, and projects
Collaborate with colleagues
Contribute to developing our activities
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who
Has training in singing and instrument or other education/experience that the employer deems relevant for the position.
You're passionate about working with children and young people
Can meet both beginners and more experienced students
Are flexible, self-directed, and enjoy collaborating with both students and colleagues.
Holds a B-class driver's license (required)

You are organized and have strong abilities to plan, document, and evaluate your work. You are responsible and experienced working both independently and as part of a team. You are trustworthy, communicative, and have a constructive approach aimed at maintaining good relationships with students, guardians, colleagues, and educators in primary school. Creativity and a desire to develop both the organization and yourself in your role as an educator are also qualities we consider important. We place great emphasis on personal qualities.

Berg Municipality applies HÖK/AB (General Terms), Appendix M to this position. We apply individual salary setting. For this position, the current starting salary range is 28,000 kr – 35,000 kr per month, depending on your previous experience and qualifications.
