Property Manager

Responsibilities Berg Municipality is now seeking an engaged and development-oriented Property Manager who wants to take overall responsibility for the municipality corporation's property portfolio and at the same time help shape a sustainable society of the future. As Property Manager, you are responsible for the organization's property operations, with a focus on creating functional, sustainable, and cost-effective housing within public housing and premises for both internal and external tenants. You lead an organization with competent employees and have overall responsibility for operations, finances, and development. The role includes, among other things, that you - Drive and develop property operations from a strategic and long-term perspective - Manage budget, results, and investment planning - Have personnel responsibility for employees - Develop relationships with operations, tenants, and partners - Work with procurement, contracts, and project execution - Actively contribute to the organization's management group You will work closely and report to Berg's Housing Company (Bergs hyreshus AB) Board of Directors and also to the municipality's Community Development Committee, and you are an important part of the municipality's development work. Qualifications We are looking for you as a confident and engaging leader with the ability to create structure, direction, and results. You have experience from the property sector and are comfortable in a role where you can combine business acumen with public benefit. You are used to working in an organization with many contact points and have a natural ability to build trust and long-term relationships. Relevant higher education or university degree, or work experience that the employer considers equivalent and relevant to the position, is required, as is previous experience as a manager/leader in the construction sector and experience from work in the public sector. Previous work as a construction project manager, procurement within the Public Procurement Act, or legal expertise is meritorious. The position requires you to have good computer skills and very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. A driver's license for a passenger car (category B) is a requirement. Berg Municipality is a Sámi administrative municipality, and we therefore consider it meritorious if you have knowledge of South Sámi language and culture.
