The role is fundamentally operational and technical with emphasis on problem solving rather than software development. The machinery fleet consists of around 100 machines, both older and more modern equipment. The role also involves significant collaboration with other departments. For example, working closely with production teams to solve complex problems where mechanics and electrical systems meet. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: You work systematically to identify and resolve electrical faults in the machinery fleet by reading and understanding electrical schematics and interpreting alarms from operators and PLC systems. You are comfortable working with older machines where documentation and electrical schematics are available. PLC Management: You are responsible for troubleshooting existing PLC programs (Siemens TIA Portal, Sinamics). This does not mean writing code from scratch, but being able to read, understand, and make minor adjustments/optimizations as needed. Installation & Assembly: You participate in cable installation, building control cabinets, and installing new cells. Safety: You work with high voltage up to 400V, which requires high safety awareness and compliance with applicable electrical regulations. Good system knowledge of Siemens control systems (TIA Portal, Sinamics). Fluent Swedish in speech and writing. Experience with robotics such as ABB is a merit.
