In this recruitment, we're partnering with Randstad where recruitment consultant Hannah Sandström answers questions about the role and recruitment process, [email protected] Responsibilities Your main focus is on ensuring high availability in production through active maintenance and rapid troubleshooting during acute shutdowns. The role is fundamentally operational and technical with emphasis on problem-solving rather than software development. The machinery fleet consists of around a hundred machines, both older and more modern. The role also involves significant collaboration with other departments. For example, working closely with production teams to solve complex problems where mechanics and electrical systems meet. Troubleshooting & Maintenance: You work systematically to identify and address electrical faults in the machinery fleet by reading and understanding electrical schematics and interpreting alarms from operators and PLC systems. You're comfortable working with older machines where documentation and electrical schematics are available. PLC Management: You're responsible for troubleshooting existing PLC programs (Siemens TIA Portal, Sinamics). This doesn't mean writing code from scratch, but being able to read, understand, and make minor adjustments/optimizations as needed. Installation & Assembly: You participate in work such as running cables, building cabinets, and installing new cells. Safety: You work with high-voltage power up to 400V, which requires high safety awareness and compliance with applicable electrical regulations. Other Information Working hours: 2-shift, full-time with immediate start The position is permanent with a 6-month probationary period IF Metall collective agreement Qualifications We're looking for someone with solid electrical-technical background and a natural aptitude for logical troubleshooting. Relevant electrical education - secondary or vocational school (YH) with electrical focus. Good technical understanding and ability to read, understand/interpret electrical schematics and work logically with troubleshooting of electrical systems. Good system knowledge of Siemens control systems (TIA Portal, Sinamics). Fluent Swedish in speech and writing. Experience with robotics such as ABB is a merit. Experience with or knowledge of machinery manufacturers such as Okuma, Klingenberg, Gleason, Mazak, Pittler, Schmid is a merit.
