Family Law Social Worker

The emphasis of the position lies in motivation work, planning, coordination, and follow-up. You work closely with clients and collaborate with both internal and external partners to create conditions for change and progression. Your work tasks include, among other things: • Conduct structured assessments and evaluations based on the BIP model. • Together with the client, establish, implement, and follow up individual plans toward self-sufficiency. • Motivate, guide, and strengthen the client's participation in change work. • Coordinate interventions and follow up progression toward set goals. • Collaborate with the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, healthcare, educational providers, and other relevant partners. • Document and follow up work in the operations system. • Contribute to the development of methods, work approaches, and operational results. • Conduct home visits when necessary. • Integration work - Receive and guide newly arrived persons. The position involves close collaboration with the unit's financial assistance case managers. You assess entitlement to financial assistance based on established planning and prepare decision documentation for the case manager. Some other financial assistance case management may occur. QUALIFICATIONS Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or other education of at least 180 credits that the employer deems equivalent. • Good knowledge of the Social Services Act (SoL) and related legislation. • Category B driving license. Merits: • Experience working with financial assistance. • Experience with labor market issues, integration, or change-oriented social work. • Experience collaborating with the Swedish Public Employment Service, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, or other authorities. • Knowledge of the BIP model or similar structured working methods. • Experience with motivational interviewing (MI) or solution-focused work. • Experience with evidence-based methods, such as Supported Employment or IPS.
