Your Role with Us As a school nurse at Christian 4:s Gymnasium, you are a central part of health-promoting and preventive student health work with a focus on strengthening students' physical, mental, and social health. You work proactively to create good conditions for learning, well-being, and development for all students – regardless of program and individual needs. An important part of the role is to conduct health-promoting and preventive work through health conversations, health education, and targeted initiatives based on current needs in the student group. You contribute medical expertise to the student health team and actively participate in interdisciplinary work around students, where early interventions and a holistic perspective are in focus. The work can include, for example, identifying mental health issues, lifestyle matters, school attendance, as well as particularly supporting students in vulnerable situations, such as students in the Introductory Program and students with special needs. The role also includes advice and support to students, guardians, and staff on matters concerning health, lifestyle habits, and medical needs. You also have an advisory function toward Municipal Activity Responsibility. Beyond health-promoting work, you are responsible for the school nurse's regular medical duties according to current guidelines for medical student health services (EMI). You are comfortable using digital technology as a tool in your daily work, and it is a merit if you have experience with journaling/documentation systems.
