In Ludvika, children and young people are important! We demonstrate this by making children and young people the center of the municipal organization. Most resources directed toward children and young people have been consolidated under one single board. This includes preschool, primary school, adapted primary school, and individual and family services. Common to all these activities is deliberate quality work to continuously develop and improve work with children and young people. The Workplace In Ludvika Municipality, during the 2025/26 school year, there are approximately 1,060 students with a native language other than Swedish. The Multilingual Unit is the unit within primary school where all study counselors and mother tongue teachers are employed. There are 26 of them in total and together they master 23 different languages. Together we work to strengthen the native language and to ensure that language does not become a barrier to student success in school. Duties You teach in your first language in the primary school subject "Native Language" according to the national curriculum. You prepare, conduct, and evaluate instruction and document students' knowledge development. From grade 6, you grade the student according to the subject's knowledge requirements. As a teacher, you shall actively work with values-based education according to the national Curriculum.
