Parkskolan is a two-parallel grades F–5 school with approximately 230 students, centrally located in Aneby. In the fall, we are expanding our operations to include grade 6, which means two additional classes and approximately 270 students. Job Responsibilities We are looking for you, an educated teacher/special education specialist with experience and competence to teach in primary school and to assess using criteria for knowledge assessment/grading criteria. Experience with early reading instruction, reading development, reading instruction, and mathematics learning is considered a merit. In fall 2026, Parkskolan needs a special education teacher. Your task will be both to guide work teams and staff regarding individuals/groups and to work operatively with individuals/groups. Individual support will be provided based on each student's individual needs. As a special education teacher with us, you will plan instruction together with colleagues/work teams based on the curriculum for the groups or individuals. In our collegium, we strive to adapt instruction, environment, and communication in various ways. In your work, you will support the work team with pedagogical assessment and evaluation, guidance, documentation, adaptation of the learning environment, follow-up, and assessment. As a special education teacher, you are engaged, structured, flexible, goal-oriented, and plan and implement instruction that promotes learning and development in students with full focus on each individual and based on their individual circumstances. You document and follow up on development and communicate it with the principal, student, and guardian. Qualifications You are a licensed special education teacher. We are looking for someone who has: · High expectations of students and their ability to develop. · Clear leadership, is responsible, organized, and results-oriented. · The ability to be a relationship builder with a calm and low-affect approach. · The ability to listen to each student's circumstances and needs. · The ability to stimulate students' curiosity and desire to learn. · Good collaboration skills and flexibility. You have a good ability to create positive relationships, clarify expectations, encourage those around you, and communicate with students, guardians, and colleagues. You find it easy to understand another person's perspective while maintaining professionalism and are well familiar with the school's governing documents. You are driven and interested in being part of and developing collegial learning. Personal suitability is highly valued as we appreciate solution-oriented thinking and good collaboration skills. No experience is required. Experience is, however, always a merit, especially if it has made you a better teacher. Selection and interviews are ongoing.
