Substitute Family Treatment Worker

Your Role We're looking for a family treatment worker who wants to work in Vara family team, VFT, our open care service for children and families. As a family treatment worker, you will work on family change initiatives, collaborate with the Family Center, and serve as our first line of support under the new Social Services Act. You appreciate early preventive interventions. We have close collaboration with the Education Department, particularly through our school social team, SST, but also otherwise, for example through SAMBU. Your Knowledge and Experience We're looking for someone with a university degree in social work. Additional qualifications in this field and experience with family support work are merits. You should be able to work both independently and in groups. We expect you to be an empathetic, trustworthy person who contributes to a good work environment. You are flexible, stress-resilient, and enjoy having varied work tasks with strong verbal and written communication skills. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Your Future Workplace You will be part of a team led by a coordinator and other family treatment workers. You work closely with social workers who provide the assignments. The target group is children under 18 years old and their families. In preventive work, there are also parenting courses that the open care team participates in conducting. VFT organizationally belongs to the Family Unit, Individual and Family Care. The unit includes authority functions and case handlers within family foster care. You receive supervision every fourth week. We offer varied work tasks, a developmental work environment, and good opportunities for personal development through supervision, continuing education, and organizational development. We work in accordance with BBIC. This position is a one-year substitute role. Other Information for Applicants A driver's license is required.
