The client has a progressive muscle disease and cannot breathe independently; she has a tracheostomy and uses a respirator. She is a very creative person and would appreciate if you share some of her interests, which include her dog Texas (a lively puppy), baking, cooking, handicrafts, and scrapbooking. As an assistant, you need to be flexible and confident. The client values someone with great patience and the ability to be personal while acting professionally. We are now looking for someone who meets the following: has previous experience working in healthcare/care or personal assistance has experience working with tracheostomy, respirator, and cough assist machine and has previously worked with a person who has these 24/7 has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written can tolerate pets is smoke-free (during work hours) It is also advantageous if you: have training in healthcare and care for tracheostomy patients have a B-class driver's license share the client's interests Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
