About Us
Höga Liden is an LSS residential facility for adults with four spaces located centrally in Lödöse, Lilla Edets municipality. In our operations, a team of staff works to ensure that our residents have as good a day as possible, based on their individual needs and wishes. Our target group is people with diagnoses within the autism spectrum and/or intellectual disability.
About the Role
As a residential support worker, you work based on the residents' individual needs and wishes, providing support in daily life using a pedagogical approach. Together with other colleagues, you work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You provide support and guidance with, among other things, personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the work is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and to create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are during daytime, evenings, and weekends.
Your Experience and Knowledge
We prefer that you have upper secondary education in care and nursing or equivalent education. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience with documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with this target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will support you and give you the opportunity to grow.
You have a positive outlook, a strong commitment to people, and are responsible. You enjoy working in a team and supporting your colleagues, and you always have our service users' best interests as your starting point in everything you do.
