Your department has a large portion of these students enrolled with you. You are 6 people who work together at leisure time around these students. You are responsible for planning activities in a structured way and with the help of visual supports creating conditions for students to benefit from the activities' opportunities for learning and development based on the requirements of governing documents. You are expected to plan in the unit's planning templates digitally and you publish plans in good time in Unikum for guardians to access. We develop our language and knowledge development work at the leisure time center and ensure that everyone has a shared understanding of what the curriculum assignment means for all staff at the leisure time center. The role involves sometimes working in the classroom and supporting instruction and individual needs of students; you also work in the grade-level department at the after-school center and are responsible, together with colleagues, for ensuring that students receive everything the after-school center's mission, according to governing documents, is intended to provide for them. The work requires collaboration with all of the school's expertise, high expectations for broad sense of responsibility, and a student perspective grounded in the curriculum's intentions that prioritize each child's wellbeing. The after-school center is open from 06:00-18:00; we have evening meetings each month where we work until 18:30. Your schedule can vary throughout the entire operating hours.
