What We Offer You Bålbroskolan is a newly built preschool-grade 3 school with four grade-level homogeneous work teams that we intend to have largely followed by the same staff from preschool through grade 3. You will be part of a work team with after-school and school personnel who support each other in the different activities' missions to provide students with everything they need to succeed in their schooling. Work is carried out jointly by the department's staff and is led by an after-school teacher who ensures that the curriculum's intentions are followed. We place great emphasis on everyone in the department taking joint responsibility for the task. You will have planning time each week with the department, one morning meeting per week with school and after-school staff, and one evening meeting each month where time for school and after-school as well as after-school only is available. We offer a wide range of benefits related to activities, well-being, insurance, pension and vacation: Our Benefits The Role As a childcare worker at Bålbroskolan, you work with students in a full-day perspective, where after-school time and the school day complement each other and you are part of the child's success, progress and well-being. You participate in planning, conducting, developing and following up on teaching in school based on the needs of the child group, the after-school program's mission according to Lgr 22 and the administration's quality work. You also actively contribute to safe, enjoyable and developmental breaks. The role involves sometimes working in class and supporting instruction and individual student needs, and you also work in the grade-level after-school department and are responsible, together with colleagues, for ensuring that students receive everything the after-school program's mission according to governing documents aims to provide. The work requires collaboration with all the school's competencies, high expectations for broad sense of responsibility and a view of students grounded in the curriculum's intentions that safeguard each child's best interest. The after-school program is open from 06-18, we have evening meetings each month where we work until 18:30. Your schedule may vary within the entire opening hours. What You Need to Bring Requirements Experience working as a childcare worker in an after-school program Experience working with children and young people in need of special support Language Skills: Fluent Swedish in speech and writing Speak and communicate in writing with ease in English Meritorious You have, for example, experience working at LSS residences, support for students with language disorders, support for students with ASD or equivalent documented experience. Employment Type, Scope and Start Employment Type: Temporary position until 270807 due to parental leave Scope: Full-time 40 h/week Start: 260803 or by agreement For this role, the starting salary is normally between 25,000 and 29,000 kr depending on experience and competence.
