With us, you will find a workplace where work satisfaction, engagement, and development are a natural part of daily life. We believe in thinking innovatively, working smart, and continuously improving together. Perstorp Municipality is located in the heart of northern Skåne, in the middle of the dynamic Öresund region – one of Sweden's most expansive areas. Here, the intimacy and security of a small town are combined with access to both nature experiences and larger cities. The municipality has approximately 7,300 residents and around 560 employees who together drive development forward. We are proud of our strong business community and our focus on public health, sustainability, and quality of life. Here there are excellent opportunities to make an impact, develop, and make a difference every day. Description Since January 1, 2019, the municipalities of Bjuv, Klippan, Perstorp, and Åstorp have collaborated through a joint chief guardian board. Perstorp is the host municipality and holds both the chairmanship and the chief guardian unit, which is responsible for the entire collaboration. The board and unit handle the statutory tasks that fall to the chief guardian in the collaborating municipalities. The board is a judicial authority at first instance, and its main task is to exercise supervision over the activities of guardians, trustees, and administrators. High demands exist that activities be conducted in a legally secure and professional manner. The unit handles approximately 1,000 cases annually. Now our colleague will be on parental leave, and we are looking for someone who, for approximately 6 months, wants to strengthen our operations and work group within the chief guardian unit. Work Tasks In the role of Chief Guardian Administrator, you will work independently on investigating incoming cases and making decisions according to delegation rules regarding, for example, temporary guardianships and changes of representatives. As a Chief Guardian Administrator, you will present cases before the board and represent the chief guardian before the court and other authorities according to the Code of Judicial Procedure chapter 12, section 14. The position includes reviewing financial reports and more varied work tasks such as case handling, operations-specific projects, and recruitment of representatives. We are looking for a colleague who enjoys a job where the pace is often high and where the workday is not always the same. You need to be able to take responsibility for your tasks, make independent decisions, and manage cases on your own without someone standing beside you. This is work where not everything will always be completed before the day ends. You will have cases that extend over time, reminders that remain pending, and tasks that need to be reprioritized based on what comes into the authority. Structure exists and is necessary, but it must be flexible; the workday is largely driven by incoming cases. To thrive, you need to feel comfortable having multiple things happening simultaneously and being able to end the day with some uncertainty without losing control or composure. We are looking for someone who is thorough, stress-resistant, and flexible – not because it sounds good in an ad, but because the job actually requires it. In return, you get variety, responsibility, and trust. Your colleagues support you, but you are expected to perform your work independently. We offer introductory training and ongoing professional development in legislation and the field. Since the work involves collaboration both internally and externally, we place high demands on your ability to cooperate and teach. You master digital systems and express yourself well in speech and writing. Since we are a smaller unit, we value your personal suitability highly. Other Information Candidates who are called for interviews and advance further will be required to complete a work test. Trial employment may be applied. If you are called for an interview, we want you to be able to support your qualifications with certificates and grades. You also need to be able to present a valid driver's license. To work with us, you must present a valid passport, national ID card, or identity document together with an identity document at the employment interview. If you are a citizen of a country outside the EU/EES or Switzerland, you will also need to bring a work permit.
