Description
Perstorp Library is a small but dedicated workplace with five employees and a library director. We are looking for a substitute for our colleague on parental leave. Welcome to a close-knit team where cooperation, idea exchange, and work satisfaction are at the center.
The substitute position is 80% and extends through December 31, with possible opportunity for extension. Interviews will be conducted continuously during the application period.
Responsibilities
As a librarian with us, you will work with:
Staffing the information desk
Program activities and events
Social media and communications
Other tasks related to daily library operations
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
A degree in library and information science
Good digital skills and experience with library systems
Interest in literature, reading promotion, and cultural issues
Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Personal Qualities
We believe you are a person who:
Enjoys meeting people – children, young people, and adults
Has the ability to work independently and in close collaboration with colleagues
Is organized, proactive, and finds it easy to plan and carry out activities
Has an interest in contributing to an operation in constant development
