Description We are looking for a substitute school counselor for grades F-3 at Norra Lyckan School and Parkskolan, starting in August. We are looking for you if you have a great ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. You have very good collaboration skills. You are engaged, solution-focused, and see opportunities given your circumstances. Responsibilities As a school counselor, you will be in contact with the Central Student Health team, child psychiatry (BUP), rehabilitation services, social services, and police. You will be part of our student health team together with school nurses, special educators, special teachers, assistant principals, and principals. You will work with student health issues at both group and individual levels, with a focus on health promotion and prevention. The work also involves supporting and guiding school staff in student health initiatives as well as writing social investigations. In your daily work at the school, you will face many different challenges, and it is therefore important that you are comfortable working with complex issues, analyzing, and breaking down problems. You must be able to work independently, be clear and attentive, and be able to adapt to students', guardians', and the school's needs. We believe in working as a team and that no one can do everything alone, but together we can make a difference so that our students have a good school experience. We will conduct interviews continuously throughout the application period. Qualifications Social Work degree Terms The position is initially a substitute role for the fall term 2026 with possible extension. Scope: 60-80% If you are offered employment within the Children and Youth Administration, you are required to provide a certificate without remarks from the Police Criminal Records Register for work in schools/preschools.
