The Workplace The municipal health and medical care in Nordmalings Municipality is responsible for providing health and medical services around the clock. The HSL unit consists of district/nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapists as well as foot care specialists and works with special residential facilities, short-term placements, group homes, and home health care. We offer an attractive work schedule that you can influence yourself with a limited number of evenings and weekends during a 15-week scheduling period. Read more about them on our website: Our Benefits The Role and Responsibilities The work involves typical tasks within municipal health and medical care/home health care. Appropriate acute and planned interventions on-call both in special residential facilities, ordinary residences, and unscheduled home visits requested by a health center or 1177. As a nurse, you perform medical treatment and care interventions. You also provide guidance and delegation to care personnel. We work with quality registries Senior Alert, BPSD, and the Palliative Registry. Documentation is done in LifeCare. Your Profile We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with experience preferably from municipal and/or regional operations. A driver's license (Category B) is required. You are expected to work independently. We want you to take responsibility, be solution-focused, and have a reflective approach to your work. The work requires that you have good social skills, are thorough, responsible, and flexible. The Employment The position is 100% where 80% is dedicated to special residential care and 20% is a pool position where you support the other teams. Before employment for work in the home of elderly persons or adults with disabilities, a certificate from the criminal record registry must be presented in accordance with current legislation. The certificate must be presented to the employer before employment begins to ensure safety and security for our users.
