Maintenance Mechanic at Jutos

We are now seeking two maintenance mechanics for our sawmill in Teurajärvi. Jutos is a stable employer with approximately 55 employees and a continuously developing operation. Our main focus is the production of sawed and planed wood products as well as by-products. In addition, we have forestry operations to supply raw materials for our own operations. We export the majority of our sawed wood products. The United Kingdom is our single largest market, followed by the rest of Europe, Scandinavia, North Africa, the Middle East, and Japan. As a maintenance mechanic, you will have varied tasks within repair and maintenance, such as preventive maintenance and repairs to our facility. Maintenance work is carried out in close cooperation with operations with a strong focus on high availability. You will be part of a maintenance team consisting of mechanics, welders, and electricians led by our production manager. You will work on continuous improvement maintenance, troubleshooting and addressing direct problems, as well as installations for renovations and new construction. We place great importance on your personal qualities; that you have a strong safety focus, are service-oriented, and understand the importance of good communication. You have the ability to solve problems and perform systematic improvement work with the goal of increasing quality and efficiency at the facility. You take your own initiative and are at the same time a good team player. This is very important as you will be driving maintenance measures with the help of internal and external contacts. You have a strong interest in technology and mechanics. We are looking for someone who works as a mechanic today or is entering the profession after completing your education. Since workplace safety and communication with your colleagues is very important, you must be able to speak and understand Swedish. We are looking for someone with: · at least upper secondary education, for example focused on industry, technology, mechanics, or truck/mobile machinery (workshop, electrical engineering, or basic mechanics) or equivalent work experience · good knowledge of mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics/compressed air technology · solid interest in technology · positive attitude · good skills in Swedish in both speech and writing · B-class driver's license As a person, you are: · responsible · thorough · and have a positive attitude It is meritorious if you have: · experience in maintenance work from the process industry · experience in mechanical maintenance, knowledge of blueprint reading, and in the electrical field We offer: · developing work in an expanding company · wellness allowance · work schedule: shift work in 2 shift teams with 7/7 shifts; 7 days evening shift followed by 1 week off.
