The Social Services Administration in Marks Municipality is responsible for activities within elderly care, municipal health and medical care, support functions, and child and family services.
As a Legal Investigator, you are part of the Social Services Administration's administrative unit. In the unit, we work across the administration to support all of the administration's activities. Your closest colleagues include board secretaries, records officers, and administrative case handlers, and you will be led by an administrative manager.
In the role, you will work closely with the Social Services Administration's development unit as well as all activities within the administration.

WORK TASKS
As a Legal Investigator, together with a colleague, you have a cross-administrative assignment where you provide qualified legal advice to employees, managers, and boards. This involves both independent work and close collaboration with the administration's activities.
In the role, you will, among other things:
• Conduct investigations and prepare decision-making materials for the board
• Provide support and guidance on legal matters and in the interpretation of laws and regulations
• Support the administration in preparing and implementing new laws and regulations
• Be the legal expertise in processes and work within the administration
• Prepare statements for courts and supervisory authorities
• Represent the board in legal proceedings where special legal expertise is required
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you with an academic degree, preferably in law, combined with extensive experience in legal work within the social services field.
You have good knowledge of social services law and the public sector's legal field.
It is meritorious if you have experience working in a politically governed organization and conducting court proceedings.
As a person, you are communicative and find it easy to create relationships of trust. You have a good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing. You can explain complex legal matters in a clear and pedagogical manner. You work in a structured way, take responsibility for your assignment, and are comfortable working both independently and in close collaboration with others. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
