DUTIES As a Benefits Specialist on our unit, you are part of important and meaningful work. In the elderly care authority function, the unit manager, senior benefits specialist, benefits specialist, fee handler, transportation service handler, and housing coordinator work together. Together with other colleagues, you will investigate, assess, and make decisions on services according to the Social Services Act and follow up on granted services. You work from a holistic perspective with the user at the center. The work includes contact and collaboration with other authorities, organizations, service providers, and other relevant partners, both internally and externally. QUALIFICATIONS Education We are looking for you who are trained as a social worker or have another academic education that the employer considers appropriate. You must have good knowledge of current legislation, and for education other than social work training, you should have studied social law. A valid driver's license (Class B) is a requirement for the position.
