About the Operations Silverdalsskolan is a school for students in adapted primary education who have an intellectual disability. The operations are characterized by an inclusive and structured approach where each student's individual conditions and needs are central. The school works in close collaboration between different professions with the goal of creating a safe, developmental, and meaningful school experience for all students. Job Responsibilities As a student assistant at Silverdalsskolan, you will work closely with students studying both subjects and subject areas. You are an important part of the school's team and collaborate daily with special education teachers, teachers, and other student assistants. Your role involves being a support for students throughout the school day and during leisure time, where you contribute to creating structure, safety, and good conditions for learning and social development. You adapt your support based on each student's needs and participate in implementing pedagogical activities and routines. Qualifications We are looking for someone with great commitment to working with children and young people in need of special support. You have a professional approach, are flexible in your working methods, and have a strong ability to meet students with different needs in a respectful and low-affect manner. You enjoy collaborating in a team but are also confident in taking your own initiatives in daily work.
