Team Lead - Logistics

Team Lead in Warehouse and Logistics at Sibes Metall AB Do you want to take the next step in your career within warehouse and logistics and combine operational work with leadership? We are now looking for a Team Lead in Warehouse and Logistics who wants to take responsibility for daily operations and develop both the team and processes. About the Role As a Team Lead, you are responsible for leading and developing daily warehouse operations while being operationally involved in the business yourself. You ensure efficient flows from incoming goods to production and onwards to customers. The role is broad and encompasses everything from order handling and goods receipt to export, quality control, and continuous improvement. You have a central position where you work closely with both production, procurement, and external partners. You are responsible for: - Leading, delegating, and following up on daily warehouse work. - Ensuring efficient flows between import, production, and delivery. - Handling incoming goods, order picking, inventory replenishment, and internal transport. - Coordinating import flows, primarily from India, including documentation and quality control. - Ensuring that materials and products meet the correct quality standards and specifications. - Planning and ensuring that production receives the right materials at the right time. - Organizing deliveries and managing export documentation. - Working on improvements in warehouse operations, workflows, and methods. You report to the Site Manager and play an important role in creating structure, quality, and efficiency in the business. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone with experience in warehouse and logistics who is ready to take greater responsibility in a leadership role. You work in a structured and thorough manner, have an eye for quality, and are driven by creating order and efficient workflows. At the same time, you are flexible and solution-oriented when circumstances change. You are also a clear communicator who inspires engagement in the team and contributes to a positive and respectful work environment. What You Need to Bring - Experience working in warehouse and logistics. - Forklift certification A and B. - Experience working with business systems or WMS. - Good proficiency in Swedish and English. It is advantageous if you have experience with import and export, preferably from international operations, as well as experience working with quality-sensitive products. Working in the Role You have a key role in creating stable and efficient flows throughout the entire logistics chain. The role requires both structure and flexibility, where you need to be able to prioritize, make decisions, and remain close to daily operations. You work both operationally and development-focused with emphasis on quality, delivery accuracy, and continuous improvement.
