JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We need more On-Call Rescue Personnel (RIB) in both Herrljunga and Annelund.
We're looking for you to make a difference for those affected by various types of accidents and create safety in society.
You will respond to emergency calls including fires, traffic accidents, cardiac arrest, and other situations where quick intervention can be crucial.
You will receive basic training over 1-2 years, spread across multiple sessions.
To maintain good knowledge, you will train approximately 50 hours per year.
Being a firefighter means you're part of a group with strong camaraderie and great team spirit. After training, you'll have skills that can also be useful at your primary workplace and in your leisure time, such as fire safety, CPR, and more.
On-Call Duties:
As RIB personnel, you have on-call duty every fourth week.
When an alarm is received, you must arrive at the fire station promptly so the fire truck can leave within 6 minutes.
This means your home and primary workplace must be located so you can meet this response time.
QUALIFICATIONS
We're looking for you to be in good health, have good physical fitness, and be able to swim.
You must be at least 18 years old.
You must have at least a Category B driver's license.
Approval from your primary employer is a requirement for employment.
You must live and work in a location that allows you to meet the six-minute response time.
Selection, interviews, and recruitment will take place on a rolling basis.
Employment type: Permanent position.
Duration: Ongoing.
At Herrljunga Municipality, full-time is the standard with the possibility of part-time. If full-time positions are not available, positions may be combined with other tasks or at another workplace.
