Food Services and Facilities Maintenance is looking for: Facilities Maintenance Worker/Administrative Assistant (2 positions), 100% employment with current placement in the Personnel Pool. Start date by agreement. Food Services and Facilities Maintenance is a consolidated operation covering the entire city (including the villages of Karungi and Nikkala) as your work area. As an employee in the personnel pool, you will be placed on various assignments depending on needs. You will primarily cover short-term absences, which means changing workplaces sometimes on a daily basis. Your duties: You will work in facilities maintenance but also assist with kitchen tasks in schools/preschools. You need to be able to handle daily cleaning and periodic cleaning. Good planning skills and flexibility are required. Qualifications: Preferably have education, good knowledge and/or experience in facilities maintenance Have knowledge of cleaning methods, floor care, cleaning equipment It is meritorious if you have education and/or experience in kitchen work Data/computer skills Driver's license and access to your own vehicle is a must Personal qualities: Good initiative/planning ability Willing to collaborate Engaged Flexible Service-oriented Loyal Ambassador Interviews take place continuously during the application period, so please submit your application today.
