Native Language Teacher in Arabic, Tigrinya, and Somali

RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in children and young people who enjoys building good and close relationships with students. As a native language teacher, you work to provide students with the best possible conditions for development, both academically and socially. As a native language teacher, you teach students from grades 1 through 6. Students are divided into two groups: grades F-3 and 4-6 depending on group size. In your role, you meet students at different knowledge levels and are responsible for planning, implementing, grading, and evaluating instruction based on the Swedish curriculum. Language development is a central part of students' education and an important key to their goal achievement. Native language instruction plays a significant role in this work, and we actively work with language development methods across all subjects. QUALIFICATIONS To succeed in this role, you must have teacher certification with qualifications to teach native languages. You should have a teacher education that qualifies you to teach Arabic, Tigrinya, and Somali and a strong commitment to students' language and knowledge development. We are looking for someone who is organized, receptive, and has the ability to adapt instruction based on students' needs and circumstances. Good collaboration skills are important, as you will work closely with both students and colleagues. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
