Service Staff for the Vineyard in Fjärås!

Work in our Dining Room with us at our wonderful "Diner" & Café at the Vineyard in Fjärås! We are looking for: a Waitress or Waiter with restaurant experience who enjoys taking on additional responsibility for the overall dining room! We are seeking a permanent position at 80-100% according to agreement, starting September 1st, 2026. There is an opportunity to work extra during July & August and possibly start the position earlier! Who are we? We are a newly opened, family-run, casual vineyard where Swedish 1960s meets American countryside. In a charming rural setting outside Fjärås, you'll find this wonderful destination for the whole family! In our Café, Restaurant & Bar, we offer home-baked goods, our own soft ice cream & food made from scratch using local ingredients in a charming retro style. Here, Grandma's cake recipes coexist with Smash Burgers, Artisan Pizzas and lots of other delicious fare from both our Halland food traditions and American Diner Culture. Here you can enjoy Locally Produced Beverages, Wine from our partner vineyards across Europe, and in the near future also our own produced Wine! Enjoy the evening sun on our magical outdoor seating with views over the vineyards and feel transported abroad! Outside the Winery you can check out Roland's beautiful cars and the children can play! We also have a small farm shop and we host conferences, weddings, themed evenings, tastings and other bookings even outside regular hours. We are a year-round operation! Who are you? You are passionate about the guest experience and working as a team with your colleagues in the kitchen and dining room toward this common goal! You have an eye for keeping things neat and fresh, making guests feel seen, ensuring staff are happy, and you enjoy juggling multiple tasks! Having experience with reservation systems and point-of-sale systems for restaurants is a merit. You are happy to answer the phone and respond to emails when needed and also represent us externally in this way. You are responsible and genuine, but you're also not afraid to pitch in with dishes and cleaning where needed! You work closely with your immediate manager, our overall Food & Beverage Manager, who is both a Sommelier & Chef but also handles personnel responsibility, scheduling, menu, point-of-sale systems, etc. You will support her in certain responsibilities, especially regarding the dining room, organizing bookings and communicating with guests and staff. You therefore don't need to be a Sommelier yourself or have extensive food & beverage knowledge from the start—you can receive support and training in this as you go. However, you do have an interest in great experiences: food & drink, and above all, you find it fun to learn about what we serve and to talk with guests about our local ingredients, etc. Education and previous experience are of course merits, but most important is you as a person and your wonderful attitude and work enthusiasm! You have a natural ability to meet people of all ages and backgrounds on their level; from directing wine enthusiasts correctly to welcoming both retired café-goers and families with playing children! You also think it's fun to work with our theme: Swedish Retro Style meets American Diner! You are comfortable working evenings and weekends (our main opening hours are Thursday-Sunday initially: Thursday & Friday 4pm-late, Saturday 11am-late [an early and late shift that can alternate on the schedule] and Sunday daytime 11am-6pm). Next year, we expect to expand to all days of the week during peak season and working hours may then become more varied. You have a driver's license and access to a car, or alternatively live nearby, or otherwise have an easy way to get to and from the Vineyard. You are at least 20 years old and feel comfortable occasionally being the sole server on duty. (According to the Alcohol Act Chapter 8 Section 18) It's an extra plus if you also enjoy helping with simple tasks in the cold kitchen and baking, but absolutely not required! Or if you perhaps have experience from a bar and/or café! Application: Via email to [email protected] Mark your email: Service Staff Tell us a little about yourself as a person, what you believe you can contribute to us and why you think you would enjoy working here! Please attach your CV & any references! Don't forget to mention how old you are, and please feel free to include a photo to make your application more personal! NOTE: Only serious applications, thank you! For Questions: First choice via SMS to Milly at 0733 76 52 05, and I'll get back to you as soon as I have the opportunity! We can also arrange a time for me to call you! Of course, emailing is also fine! We hope you want to be part of our unique destination! We look forward to hearing from YOU so we can talk further!
