JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now seeking a team leader for our family foster care team that works with placed children and youth.
In your role as team leader within IFO Children and Youth, you are responsible for operational management, in close collaboration with the unit manager, of 2 family home secretaries, 5 child secretaries, and one parent secretary.
The team leader is responsible for distributing work tasks to the caseworkers and for making decisions in individual cases, according to applicable delegation regulations. The role of team leader also includes management and supervision in individual cases.
The team leader shall ensure that applicable legislation, delegation regulations, guidelines, and procedures are followed in the unit.
It also includes assisting the unit manager with operational and quality development in the unit and serving as management support in relevant work tasks where the unit manager is responsible.
During the unit manager's longer absence, the team leader receives temporary delegation equivalent to the unit manager.
The team leader will represent the municipality in certain collaboration forums within the unit's areas of responsibility.
QUALIFICATIONS
The position requires a degree in social work (socionomexamen).
In this role, you are expected to have extensive knowledge of the area of responsibility, relevant legislation, and be a guarantor that procedures and legal certainty are maintained.
You must have several years of experience with authority operations within social services for children and youth.
You must be well-versed in case management and documentation, as well as the laws governing our operations.
Education in and knowledge of Signs of Safety, Signs of Belonging is meritorious, as the entire unit works based on this.
You need a very good ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
You need good knowledge of English.
A class B driver's license is a requirement for employment.
You have good computer skills. Experience with social services management systems is meritorious.
An extract from the police's criminal record register is required for this position.

Duration: Permanent, start date: by mutual agreement.
