We work to support and help our residents in their daily and working lives based on decisions and implementation plans. This can include personal care, communication, practical tasks, and activities. Ongoing documentation according to applicable legislation is part of the work, including writing implementation plans according to IBIC (Individual's Needs at the Center). Your Knowledge and Experience You should have training as a support assistant, education from a youth and leisure program, leisure leader track, care program, or other education/competence/experience that the employer deems equivalent. Other Qualifications: Knowledge and experience working with low-affective care approaches. Experience working with people with various types of functional variations. These three units jointly plan parts of the operations, which means most work shifts for this position will be at Götgatan, but some shifts may occur in Vedum. Here we implement decisions regarding Housing with Special Services for Adults under LSS. We work with people with various types of functional variations, which requires competence in how to treat people in a professional and individualized manner. These two are located geographically close to each other and collaborate daily with shared activities, etc. These two BMSS also include Functional Support, which is residential support in ordinary housing for persons within the LSS and SOL areas. Here we work in ordinary housing throughout Vara municipality. We are now seeking new colleagues who want to be part of developing the activities to meet an increased need for support and services. With us, you will have the opportunity to contribute to enabling people to live independent and meaningful lives according to their own circumstances. Your Role As a support assistant, you work to make a difference in the daily lives of the people we help and support. You work in a motivating and empowering manner and operate based on implementation plans where users and staff have together documented how support and assistance should be provided. You provide support around the clock. You provide support in care situations, help with various household tasks, accompany people to different activities, and provide assistance with contacts with authorities and other care providers.
