We are looking for someone with a background in qualified accounting, preferably from industrial companies, groups, or audit firms, and who is ready to take overall responsibility for the company's financial accounting and reporting. Requirements and qualifications: Solid experience of accounting according to K3 (requirement), preferably also knowledge of IFRS Experience independently preparing annual reports, tax returns, and other regulatory reports Experience with reconciliations, closing of accounts, and budget processes Good knowledge of tax matters Good experience with contact with external auditors and authorities Experience from work in an international group Very good knowledge of Excel and other parts of MS Office Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing B-category driver's license. Meritorious: Experience from work at an audit firm Experience with SAP S/A HANA Practical experience with various complex accounting matters, such as provisions, fixed assets, etc. Understand and speak French. As Chief Accountant, you get a key role with responsibility for the company's accounting from start to finish. You drive both strategic and operational aspects of accounting work and ensure that reporting maintains high quality, complies with regulations, and is delivered on time. The role involves close collaboration with auditors, CFO, and other internal stakeholders – where you are the one who stands for reliability, structure, and expertise in accounting matters. With work tasks that for example include: Perform bookkeeping activities and monthly closing of accounts Prepare annual reports and regulatory reporting Take responsibility for tax matters and tax returns Handle investments, fixed assets, and provisions Drive contact with auditors and prepare for audits Participate in improvement and change work within the finance function Provide support to other departments on accounting matters Work actively with cash flow, budget, and follow-up.
