Childcare Provider for Rickarums School About the Position Do you dream of working at a location in the heart of nature where a non-profit school association and dedicated staff work for every child's development and sense of security? Rickarums School and Preschool is located in a small community where many parents and neighbors are passionate about the organization and contribute to the sense of community and creative learning environment. Nature is our primary educational space. It gives children and staff the opportunity to use the surrounding forest, lake, and meadows for creative learning and a healthy work environment. With approximately 50 children in preschool and approximately 50 students in school, everyone knows each other and we can work in an age-integrated and flexible way that promotes each child's development. Staff members in the various parts of the operation work together to create learning based on care, competence, and heart. Together, the staff consists of approximately 30 people. We place great importance on a work environment where staff, students, and children feel joy in coming to preschool and school in the morning. Does Rickarum sound remote? Not at all – the school is 25 kilometers from Kristianstad and Hässleholm and in less than an hour you can reach Malmö or Lund. A hidden gem in a vibrant countryside with everything within half an hour. We are now seeking one 100% childcare provider on a fixed-term contract. You will work primarily in a toddler classroom together with another childcare provider and preschool teacher, and will also serve as a substitute in other classrooms during planning. Welcome to join us! About Us Rickarums School Association has operated a preschool since 2012 and a grades F-5 school and after-school program since 2015, "the little school in nature." We are a non-profit association that reinvests any profits into the operation and grows at a sustainable pace. Food is prepared from scratch in our own new kitchen.
