Senior Network Engineer to Sundsvall

We are looking for you who are an experienced network engineer and want to help shape the future of networks at Savecore. At Savecore, you get to combine strategic ability, operational work within implementation and expertise in complex network environments with drive and a solution-oriented approach. You are a technically sharp problem solver with a passion for networks, security and architecture in modern IT environments. You will have a central role in planning, building and developing network architecture in Savecore's own data centers as well as in customer environments. You will also be responsible for driving network design, technical solutions and consulting within infrastructure, security and availability. In close collaboration with Savecore's internal technical team and their customers, you analyze needs, design solutions and ensure the highest quality in delivery. The role requires both deep technical knowledge and a holistic perspective on infrastructure and architecture. You are also communicative, structured and enjoy working both independently and in a team. Work Tasks: Design, implement and optimize network solutions in Savecore's data centers and hybrid environments. Participate in technical feasibility studies, analyses and solution architecture. Act as an advisor on network issues related to security, redundancy and performance. Troubleshoot and manage advanced network environments. Document network solutions and contribute to improvement of routines and processes. Work proactively with continuous improvement and development of Savecore's services. Knowledge and Experience Required: Several years of experience in network design, implementation and troubleshooting. Experience with routing, switching, firewalls, wireless networks and WAN. Good understanding of IT security in network environments. Swedish and English, fluent in speech and writing at a professional level. Meritorious: Relevant higher education. Relevant certifications within networking. Experience with OT networks. Experience with Cisco, BGP, Fortinet, Juniper or Huawei. Experience from operations, consulting or delivery organizations within IT infrastructure. Knowledge of networks in cloud environments and automation.
