Schedevi Psychiatry is a privately owned company that has been offering support, 24-hour care, and housing for adults with mental health variations and comorbid conditions since 1942. We provide comprehensive care services including personal care, social and physical training, and support for individual development. We operate multiple well-established facilities in East Gothia, West Gothia, and now also in Småland. About Us Schedevi Öst is a residential and care home (HVB) consisting of 5 units plus a day activity program. We work with functional training in activities of daily living (ADL) and active rehabilitation for adults with acquired disabilities resulting from, for example, psychotic illness or comorbid conditions. Some parts of our operations are specifically focused on individuals with complex and long-term disabilities where rehabilitation capacity has been assessed as significantly limited. We have extensive experience working with people who, in addition to Social Services placements, receive care under the Act on Open Forensic Psychiatric Care and the Act on Open Psychiatric Compulsory Care. Job Duties The work primarily involves providing residents with support and care in their daily lives. Based on needs and goals, an implementation plan is established. Subsequently, a structured weekly schedule is created for each individual, which may include support conversations, training in daily living activities, and everyday tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and cooking. In addition to these standard unit tasks such as documentation, weekly meal shopping, meal preparation, cleaning, laundry, social training, transporting clients to health centers, etc. The work involves operating within a clear structure and predictability in daily routines through established procedures and approaches. Your Profile We are looking for someone who wants to work with adults who have significant disabilities resulting from psychiatric illness. We can offer you a pleasant, educational, and varied work experience in our operations. If you have completed education or are currently studying in care, social work, or education, that is a merit; the same applies if you have previous experience in similar work. You express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written, and have good computer skills. Great importance is placed on personal suitability.
