What We Offer Bålbroskolan is a newly built preschool-grade 3 school with four grade-level homogeneous teams that we intend for a staff group to largely follow from preschool through grade 3. You will be part of a team with after-school and school staff who support each other in the different activities' missions to offer students everything they need to succeed in their schooling. Work is conducted jointly by the department's staff and led by an after-school teacher who ensures that the curriculum's intentions are followed. We place great emphasis on everyone in the department taking joint responsibility for the mission. You will have planning time every week with the department, one morning meeting per week with school and after-school staff, and one evening meeting each month where time for both school and after-school, as well as after-school only, is available. You participate in planning, conducting, developing, and following up on instruction in school based on the student group's needs, the after-school center's mission according to Lgr 22, and the administration's quality work. You also actively contribute to safe, enjoyable, and developmental breaks. The role involves sometimes working in the classroom and supporting instruction and individual needs of students; you also work in the grade-level department at the after-school center and are responsible, together with colleagues, for ensuring that students receive everything the after-school center's mission, according to governing documents, is intended to provide for them. The work requires collaboration with all of the school's expertise, high expectations for broad sense of responsibility, and a student perspective grounded in the curriculum's intentions that prioritize each child's wellbeing. The after-school center is open from 06:00-18:00; we have evening meetings each month where we work until 18:30. Your schedule can vary throughout the entire operating hours.
