1 position(s). What We Offer Bålbroskolan is a newly built pre-K through grade 3 school with four grade-level teams that we intend to maintain largely the same from pre-K through grade 3. You will be part of a team with both school and after-school personnel who support each other in fulfilling the different programs' missions to provide students with everything they need to succeed in school. Work is done collaboratively by the team and is led by an after-school teacher who ensures that curriculum intentions are followed. We place great emphasis on everyone in the department taking shared responsibility for the mission. You will have planning time each week with your team, one morning meeting per week with school and after-school staff, and one evening meeting each month with time for combined school and after-school sessions as well as after-school only. We offer a wide range of benefits related to activities, wellness, insurance, pension, and vacation: Our Benefits The Role As a child care worker at Bålbroskolan, you work with students from a full-day perspective, where after-school time and the school day complement each other and you are part of each child's success, progress, and well-being. You participate in planning, implementing, developing, and following up on instruction at school based on the group's needs, the after-school program's mission according to Lgr 22, and the department's quality work. You also actively contribute to safe, enjoyable, and developmental breaks. The role involves sometimes working in the classroom to support instruction and meet individual student needs, and you also work in the grade-level after-school program, where you share responsibility with colleagues to ensure students receive everything the after-school program is meant to provide according to applicable guidelines. The work requires collaboration with all school professionals, high expectations for broad responsibility, and a view of students grounded in curriculum intentions that prioritize each child's best interests. The after-school program is open from 06:00-18:00; we have evening meetings each month where we work until 18:30. Your schedule may vary throughout our hours of operation. What You Bring Requirements Experience working as a child care worker in an after-school program Experience working with children and youth with special support needs Language Skills: Fluent Swedish, spoken and written Speak and communicate easily in English, written and verbal Meritorious You have experience working in, for example, LSS residential care, supporting students with language disorders, supporting students with autism or equivalent documented experience. Employment Type, Scope, and Start Date Employment Type: Permanent Scope: Full-time Start Date: 2026-08-03 or by agreement For this role, the starting salary is normally between 25,000 and 29,000 kr depending on experience and qualifications.
