Description Perstorp's primary schools consist of three physical units with approximately 850 students from Preschool Class to Grade 9. Work Tasks Student Health's mission is to support students' development toward educational goals through health-promoting and preventive measures. The school physician handles routine tasks within the framework of the Health and Medical Services Act and the student health medical services. The assignment includes: Assessing, examining, and when necessary, referring to other healthcare providers based on the results of health examinations. This can involve matters related to psychiatric issues, growth, orthopedics (mainly scoliosis), and other school-related health problems. Prescribing vaccinations as part of individual vaccination programs Conducting medical assessments before admission to adapted school forms Collaborating with the student's guardians, school personnel, other healthcare providers, and external authorities Qualifications We are looking for a licensed school physician with appropriate education and experience in working with student health medical services. We are looking for you who are a licensed school physician or a licensed physician with specialist competence in general medicine or child and adolescent medicine. You have previous experience working with children and young people, and it is an advantage if you have previously worked as a school physician.
