Project Manager - NKB
About the Position
Do you want to drive building projects from concept to finished frame in a growing company with short decision-making processes and high technical expertise? NKB is now seeking a project manager for the office in Norberg.
NKB works with buildings constructed for industrial, logistics, trade, and warehouse purposes where steel, concrete, and wood are combined to create sustainable and functional building systems. As a project manager, you will have a central role in the operation where you are responsible for project planning and coordination of multiple projects in parallel. This role is perfect for you if you enjoy many contact points, like creating structure, and want to be involved in developing tomorrow's building solutions with a focus on quality and sustainability.

Duties
Lead and coordinate engineering work in building projects
Internal auditor for quality and environmental management systems; the company is currently certified according to ISO 9001 and 14001
Responsible for contact and coordination between customers, consultants, and suppliers
Plan, follow up, and ensure that projects are executed according to schedule and specifications
Participate in engineering meetings and be an important link between different parties in the project
Work with quality assurance, environmental issues, and documentation
Manage technical information, drawings, and project materials
Contribute to the development of sustainable and cost-effective building solutions
Location: Norberg
Scope: Full-time
Working Hours: Daytime, Monday-Friday 8-16
About You
We are looking for someone with experience from the construction industry who thrives in a role where you can combine technology, project management, and coordination. You are organized, thorough, and have the ability to manage many parallel tasks without losing the big picture.
You find it easy to build good relationships and feel comfortable communicating with customers, consultants, and partners. At the same time, you have a genuine interest in building technology, quality, and sustainability issues.
Qualifications
Experience from the construction industry, preferably in engineering, design, or project management
Post-secondary education in construction, for example civil engineer, or equivalent experience
Strong ability to work in a structured manner and coordinate multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Class B driver's license
Meritorious
Experience from prefab, frame, or industrial hall building projects
Knowledge of CAD, Autodesk, or other engineering and design software
Experience working with quality, environment, or sustainability issues
Background as a designer, engineer, or site supervisor in construction
Experience coordinating external consultants and contractors
