Summer Guest Services Staff – Guest Services

Marstrands Havshotell is now hiring guest services staff for our Guest Services department ahead of the 2026 summer season, with the opportunity to continue working extra shifts even after summer – especially on weekends and as needed on weekdays.
Guest Services is a varied department that includes hotel reception, reservations, and spa reception, where we together create a first-class experience for our guests.

DUTIES
As a guest services staff member at Marstrands Havshotell, you are an important part of the guest experience and work in spa reception, reservations, and hotel reception. You are responsible for ensuring the guest journey flows smoothly from first contact to departure.
You will, among other things:
Ensure that the guest journey is tracked from booking to departure and that guests are always treated professionally.
Be proactive in meeting guest needs and questions, in person, by phone, and by email.
Provide advice on treatments, products, and spa packages.
Prioritize guest needs through service, as well as food and beverage delivery.
Work according to the hotel's checklists and ensure tasks are handled during your shift in reservations, hotel reception, and spa reception.
Be well-informed about the hotel's offerings, packages, and spa packages.
Manage bookings in Visbook and ensure the correct rate codes are used.
Handle cash and payments according to the hotel's procedures.
Assist with conferences, for example with printing, simple inquiries, cancellations, and guest check-in.
Assist therapists as needed, for example by preparing treatment rooms.
Keep the spa department and receptions clean, organized, and in good condition.
Act according to procedures during fire alarms – reception serves as the communications hub.
When needed, be able to step in for night shifts.
Assist in training new staff in reception, reservations, and spa.
Work actively with sales in line with the hotel's sales goals.

Comfortable with computers and administrative tasks (experience with booking systems is a plus, preferably VisBook)
Communicative and fluent in Swedish, preferably also English
