The HR department in Krokom Municipality covers both HR and payroll. With us, you'll become part of a competent team that together is responsible for the municipality's payroll management and supports the organization in both payroll and HR matters.
The Municipal Administration serves three boards: the Municipal Board, the Building and Environment Board, and the Community Development Board. The administration employs approximately 135 employees and is divided into areas: management staff, building and environment, and community development and growth.
A day as a Payroll Administrator in the HR department
Each month, we process approximately 1,800 payrolls for our employees in Krokom Municipality. Now we're looking for you to work together with your colleagues in the HR department to take clear responsibility and contribute to efficient, secure, and customer-oriented payroll management. As a payroll administrator with us, you'll play an important role in supporting our organization with various administrative tasks within the payroll area.
In your role as a payroll administrator, you support the organization by reviewing and registering payroll data and providing service to managers and administrators via case management systems, phone, email, and meetings. You apply current laws and agreements, working closely with other payroll administrators, system administrators, HR consultants, HR strategists, and HR specialists. You're responsible for administrative tasks such as routine work, file management, and updating manuals.
Work is conducted in the personnel system Heroma, where operations register most data themselves and the payroll administrator serves as support and quality assurance. We consider it self-evident that you, together with your colleagues, want to contribute to developing our work methods.
Your competence
We're looking for someone who:
has education in payroll/administration or equivalent experience as assessed by the employer
has experience with payroll administration
has high digital proficiency and experience working in various digital systems and tools, such as planning and organizing work within Microsoft M365 through Planner, Loop, OneNote, etc.
finds it exciting and interesting to work with new digital solutions
has the ability to work independently and take own initiative
is a problem solver with high customer service awareness
has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
We consider it a merit if you have experience working with any of the following:
Scheduling related to 24/7 operations and/or on-call services
The Heroma personnel system
Central collective agreements applicable to municipalities (particularly General Provisions with appendices)
