About Unika Bångbro Unika Bångbro is a group home with 5 spaces for individuals within LSS personnel category 1. About the Support Assistant Role As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with functional variations, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support the residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, and always use their personal implementation plan as a starting point. We work with a salutogenic and pedagogical approach, where we start from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for residents to achieve as much independence as possible and be able to live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you work based on clarifying pedagogy and low-affective communication to create security and predictability in the residents' daily lives. At the same time, we have a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the organization's resources and budget. Qualifications You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good collaboration skills and relate to others in a responsive way and enjoy working with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can see the individual's needs. We place great importance on personal suitability. Requirements: - Very good ability in Swedish both spoken and written - Good computer skills, experience with documentation - Experience working in healthcare and care - Secondary education such as child and leisure program, healthcare and care program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or university education in a relevant field Meritorious if you also have: - Experience in psychiatry, AAC, and low-affective communication - Worked with complex support needs Employment Terms Employment form: Temporary position Degree of service: 75-100% Working hours: Varying, day, evening, and on-call nights Start date: September 1, 2026 Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreement with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
