Housekeeping Manager

About the role
As a housekeeping manager, you're responsible for planning, leading, and ensuring quality in our daily housekeeping operations. You ensure that our hotel rooms, conference facilities, and common areas maintain the high standard our guests expect. You work closely with the team daily and are an important person for both staff and operations. The role involves both practical work and administrative tasks.
Examples of responsibilities:
Planning and coordinating daily housekeeping work
Supervising and supporting the housekeeping team
Scheduling and workforce planning
Onboarding new employees and temporary staff
Quality checks and follow-up
Approving reported hours
Active participation in daily housekeeping work when needed
Who we're looking for
We're looking for someone with experience from the hotel industry who thrives in a role where you take responsibility, create structure, and lead others with positive and present leadership. You're confident in prioritizing and making decisions even when the pace is high, while maintaining an eye for detail and quality. For us, collaboration and attitude are just as important as experience.
We believe you:
Have experience from hotels and housekeeping/hospitality
Have previous experience with team leadership and personnel responsibility
Are organized, solution-oriented, and quality-conscious
Are communicative and skilled at motivating others
Enjoy both administrative and practical work
Have good computer skills
Speak and write Swedish fluently and have good English skills
Additional language skills are a plus.

Other information
This is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period. Start date is by agreement. Employment level is between 75-100% depending on your preferences and agreement.
Working hours are typically Monday-Friday 07:00-16:00. Weekend work may occur when needed and occasional evening shifts may be required.
