JOB DUTIES • Collaborate with guardians, social services, preschool/school staff, student health services and other functions. • Early identification of children and students in need of support, in dialogue with guardians and preschool/school. • Contribute with the preschool's/school's expertise in children and family in preventive work. • Provide advice, support and short-term interventions directly to children, students and their guardians. • When needed, motivate and refer to social services' regular interventions. • Monitor and initiate interventions for groups of guardians. • Participate in and lead collaboration meetings with student health services, social services, preschool/school and other actors. • Document and follow up implemented interventions according to applicable laws and guidelines. • Actively contribute to establishing, developing and shaping the school social services team's working methods and approaches. QUALIFICATIONS As a social worker in the school social services team, a social work degree or other education deemed equivalent by the employer is required. Experience working in social services' child and youth sector is meritorious. Good knowledge of the Social Services Act (SoL), the Education Act and confidentiality legislation is meritorious. Experience with collaboration between school, social services and other actors is meritorious. Ability to create trusting relationships with children, young people and parents is meritorious.
